Ashtanga Yoga: Practice and Philosophy with Maya Gross and Arvind Pare (Mysore)

Maya will lead a yoga and meditation session, Arvind will discuss Kleśas which is the root cause of sorrow and present living a Yoga life as a solution. (PYS 2.1-2.11)
Arvind Pare
Has been teaching Yoga Philosophy classes in Gokulam, Mysore and around the world for the past six years. His evening sessions on Bhagavad-Gita and weekly talks on yoga-related topics are highly popular among students. Prior to this, he lived for 15 years in ashrams learning Vedanta from his teacher Swami Dayananda Saraswati of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. Arvind has masters degree in Engineering and Business Administration from the USA where he lived for 12 years. His effective use of language and adherence to traditional methods of teaching allows him to communicate most complex concepts to his students, who range from beginners to yoga teachers.

Maya Gross
A senior yoga teacher, with over 20 years of experience in the limbs of yoga who teaches workshops and retreats both in Israel and abroad. Founder of "Ashtanga Yoga Tel Aviv" shala (since 2004) and coordinator of Yoga Teacher Training courses. Maya studied in Mysore with the late master Pattabhi Jois and continue her training with Sharath Jois and Sharmila Desai. She's teaching a daily program of Mysore Style in TLV since 2005. Maya is a certified "body wisdom" therapist, body wisdom is an integrative treatment method based on osteopathy. Maya delves into Yoga Philosophy and Buddhist traditions, guides meditations and workshops.
